Q:  I need to find my ex's hidden assets, what can you do to assist me?

A:  Our investigators have extensive experience on conducting investigations regarding locating the assets of the other party. Typically it is quite common during the divorce process for one spouse to hide assets.  Conducting an investigation can help because the evidence we collect is lawful and admissible in court.  

Q: Can a PI find a banking account?

A:  Yes a private investigator can locate the location of where a individual conducts their banking however we cannot obtain deposit history, account numbers or balances. However through surveillance we can determine the method of payment the party uses, as such that will identify the institution name, and you can go to court to get a court order for a copy of the banking records.  For example: We conduct surveillance and see that they use a particular bank card.  You may not be aware of it we provide that information to you and either you as a self-represented or through a lawyer can ask the judge for an order to produce all accounts held in the parties name for court.

Q: Can you get my wife's text messages, facebook messages?

A: No private investigators cannot access your wifes personal messages or facebook messages. This is unlawful, and we do not provide that service.

Q:  Is it legal to hire a private investigator

A: Yes however if you have a court order prohibiting you from direct or indirect contact with the person you want us to investigate we are prohibited from conducting surveillance in situations where you have a no contact order against you. However if it is for building a defence we may act through your lawyer. 

Q:  I haven't seen my loved one in years and I called police but they won't help can you help find them?

A: Depending on your reason for wanting to locate them we may take your file. Everyone has the right to privacy and as such you must have a reason to locate the person. If it is to see if they are okay then we ask you to permit us to tell them you are looking for them. If they don't provide consent to share their personal information with you we will not do so. Unless we are trying to serve them court documents.

Q: How much is it to hire a private investigator?

A:  Hiring a private investigator can cost as little as $500.00 CAD, depending on your file. 

Q: How much is it to find someone's address?

A: We charge $475. CAD for a residential address plus applicable taxes and disbursements and an hourly rate of $95 per hour. We always let you know ahead of time what the bill will be that is our transparency policy.

Q: How do you locate people when you are not in the town / city / province that I think they are?

A:  People locating can be conducted through online research, making telephone calls etc. We have located people all over the world Indonesia, Kenya, Turks Cacois, Phillipines and the UK.
